Prospective Graduates

The Department of Microbiology has seven faculty members. The department is housed in Rudman Hall, which has state of the art molecular biology facilities. Graduate student support is provided through project assistantships funded through federal, state and contract sources, as well as teaching assistantships and graduate research assistantships. These positions provide for the academic year. In addition, the Graduate School provides tuition scholarships to the department. Individuals seeking support should submit all application materials on or before February 15. Deadline for receipt of completed applications for fall entry is April 1 and for spring entry is October 1.
