Hands on learning is one of the more exciting and rewarding aspects of a college and postgraduate education. Undergraduates work along with graduate and postdoctoral students in research projects that are funded by the National Institute of Health, the National Science Foundation, the United States Department of Agriculture, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Food and Drug Administration as well as many other private and public funding Agencies.
Our department curriculum prepares students for entry into professional programs such as Medical, Dental, Veterinarian, and Graduate School. The department offers a Bachelors of Science degree, Masters of Science degree and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Microbiology.
